Honey Bee gave me a break: Balu Varghese

Balu Varghese, who started his innings as a child artist in Dileep starrer Chandupottu, has now found a strong foothold in Malayalam film industry. The actor’s latest outing ‘Ithihasa’ is also faring well at the box giving a tough competition to many of the big budget films.
In a recent interview with a regional channel the actor said that it was his character Ambroose, a typical Kochiite with the local slang in Honey Bee, that gave him the big break.“Honey Bee was a turning point in my career and even after years, many people called me by the name Ambroose,”says Balu adding that the role remains closest to his heart.
