Three arrested for chemical theft at Ankleshwar

BHARUCH : Personnel of local crime branch arrested three persons for stealing acetic acid from a tanker at Ankleshwar GIDC estate on Thursday night.
The police seized material worth Rs.38 lakh including chemical acetic acid worth Rs.7.92 lakh along with two tankers bearing a three wheeler tempo.
The vehicles were parked near Karmatur Chowkdi at Ankleshwar GIDC and the accused were held while transferring the chemical.
Those arrested are drivers of the tankers and tempo Munna alias Pir Mohammad Gilani and Anwar Khan Gurjar of Uttar Pradesh along with Narendra Sinh Zala of Karjan.
