Sampdoria moved up to third in Serie A after a dramatic 2-2 draw against AC Milan on Saturday.
Stephan El Shaarawy gave Milan the lead after 10 minutes but two goals in six minutes at the start of the second half from Stefano Okaka and Citadin Eder turned the game on its head.
Jeremy Menez then levelled things for the visitors from the penalty spot and they were forced to hold on in the closing stages after Daniele Bonera was dismissed with five minutes to play.
In the day's other game, Sassuolo and Atalanta shared a goalless draw.
