Is Santhanam a surprise element in Aambala?

Director Sundar C has finished shooting 70 per cent of his upcoming film Aambala, which stars Vishal and Hansika in the lead. While the film has an ensemble cast that also includes Vaibhav, Madhuurima, and Madhavi Latha, there was speculation earlier on whether Santhanam will be a part of the film after Sathish was cast for a role. The ace comedian has been involved in every Sundar C film ever since he teamed up with the director for Kalakalappu.
Now, we hear from sources in the industry that the ace comedian will be in Aambala as well and that it is more of a ���surprise role���. Confirms Sundar C, ���Santhanam is very much part of the film. And, he was part of the cast from the beginning and is not a late addition. However, I cannot reveal if his will be a special appearance or not. For that, you will have to watch the film, which we are planning to release for Pongal 2015.���
