Four gunned down at KwaMashu Hostel

Four people have been shot dead at KwaMashu Hostel, north of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Saturday.

On Friday evening the four were in a house when gunmen entered the house and shot them, Major Thulani Zwane said.

A task team, consisting of members of the Hawks, crime intelligence and detectives, was established to investigate the murders.

Provincial police commissioner Lt-Gen Mmamonnye Ngobeni said: "Additional manpower, including public order police, has been deployed... to monitor and patrol the area".
