QUETTA: A bullet-riddled body wrapped in a scented shroud was found in Bostan area, some 40km from here in Pishin district, on Friday.

Police received information about the presence of a body under a bridge in Bostan and shifted it to the civil hospital.

“The body was shrouded properly and apparently had perfume sprinkled over it,” an official of the Pishin district administration said, adding that the deceased, whose name could not be ascertained, appeared to be in his 30s.

Bullet wounds and torture markers were visible on the corpse.

Over a dozen bodies have been recovered from the same area of Pishin district so far. Last week, police found four bodies of unidentified people from two areas of Bostan and Kuchlak.
