CRPs’ delegation meets CEO Samba

JAMMU, Nov 7: A delegation of teachers working as Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs), under the leadership of provincial leader, J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA), Shanti Saroop, met Chief Education Officer (CEO), Samba to discuss the issue of pending salary of CRPs and ZRPs for the month of October, 2014.
Apprising the CEO of the issue, they said that State Project Director (SPD), Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) had stopped the salary of CRPs and ZRPs for want of their six months performance. They told CEO that all the CRPs of five zones of Samba district had submitted their tour diary to their respective Zonal Education Officer’s office.
The CEO assured the officials that as soon as the pending reports of Ramgarh and Ghagwal Zones are submitted in his office, he would immediately discuss the matter with SPD and issue the order for release of the salary of CRPs and ZRPs for the month of October within two months.
Meanwhile, the CEO also discussed various issues of children’s interest like toilet facility and arrangements of electricity and drinking water with the delegation. He also issued directions to the officials to ensure proper functioning of the schools.
Kameshwer Dubey, Kulbhushan, Sunil, Kamal Pal Singh, Keemat Raj, Rakesh Sharma and many others were part of the delegation.
