Vacuum system makers UAE-based Bin Daen Group and Italy’s Sistem-Air are planning to set up an assembling unit of centralised vacuum systems (CVS) here, said Bin Daen Operations Director Bavani Ganti on Friday.

“We will come out with more details about the upcoming unit after a detailed meeting to be held with builders in Bangalore and Chennai shortly. We have already met the city builders and interacted with them. The unit will generate employment to over 50 persons here,” said Mr. Bavani. The CVS was launched here on Friday.

Sistem Air Global Export Head Fabrizio Borloni explained that the group, in collaboration with the Bin Daen Group, have lined up over Rs.1,500 crore in the next two financial years for setting up assembling units in the country.

A central vacuum cleaner is a type of appliance installed in a building as a semi-permanent fixture to remove dirt and debris from the premises. It will send dirt particles through tubing installed inside the walls to a collection container in a remote utility space. The power unit for it is a permanent fixture, typically installed in a basement, garage, or storage room, along with the collection container.

Inlets are installed in walls throughout the building that attach to power hoses and other central vacuum accessories to remove dust, particles, and small debris from interior rooms. “Be it a new or existing home, the system is easy to install,” Mr. Bavani added.
