At a promotional event of 'Rang Rasiya', which hits theatres today, onlookers were curious to know who had designed Nandana Sen’s classy sari in deep hues of red and ochre. Turned out, it was designed by Sabyasachi. Inspired by Raja Ravi Varma, the designer created the sari for the actress, who plays the painter’s muse, for the occasion.

Sabya said, “Nandana is as wonderful a muse today as she would have been 100 years ago.It was Ravi Varma who had designed the Indian national dress, the sari. This is my tribute to the great master.”
