Singer Manjari goes glam for Aiy Aiy Yaa!

Singer Manjari is creating a lot of buzz with her new Hindi track, Aiy Aiy Yaa, which has become a hit online. Manjari, who appears in her new glam avatar in the music video, is excited about the kind of positive feedback she is garnering for her maiden Hindi track. When we contacted the singer, she did not hide her excitement and said, “It’s bliss. The song is my maiden attempt in Hindi and I am getting overwhelming response from the audience.It has been a confidence booster.”
Majari admitted that the ultra-glam image makeover for the Hindi track was a conscious decision. “There is a lot of difference between a regional song and a Bollywood number. Not just the music, but the audience and the mood are also different. I felt I should undergo a makeover to give the song an international appeal.” The singer reveals that, initially she was planning to rope in a model for the shoot. “But my close friends persuaded me to give it a try,” she says.
So, was it too tiring for her to act and sing for a video? “Not at all. But the going was not smooth in the beginning as I was a bit nervous. However, I soon started enjoying the fun filled ambience. In fact, I did not act; I just emoted while singing the number. And I would say the satisfaction of handling multiple roles is immense,” says the singer, adding that she is planning more such videos in future.
