After former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy, now it is the turn of Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education Kimmane Rathnakar to challenge Shivamogga MP and BJP National Vice President B.S. Yeddyurappa for a ‘truth test’ in Dharmasthala.

Mr. Rathnakar told presspersons in Thirthahalli on Thursday that he was pained by the allegations levelled against him over the incident of death of a minor girl in Thirthahalli by the Bhratiya Janata Party (BJP).

“I have not tried to protect the culprits responsible for the death of the minor girl as alleged by the BJP leaders. My consciousness is clear. I am ready for ‘satya nivedane,’ and submit my version of truth before lord Manjunatha in Dharmasthala. Let Mr. Yeddyurappa.” He said.

He expressed displeasure that, BJP MP, Shobha Karandlaje had spoken against him and said “I am contemplating to move a breach of privilege motion against her in the State Assembly,”.
