Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education invites applications for recruitment of project assistant

Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) has released a recruitment notice inviting eligible candidates to various posts. HBCSE is a National Centre engaged in promoting equity and excellence in science and mathematics education.

Vacancy-
Project Assistant- 01 post in Astronomy Olympiad cell

Eligibility-
The applying candidate should have a degree in B.sc with at least 60% marks and 1 yr experience in relevant field, or M. Sc. with at least 60% marks.
The candidate should also have interest in Astronomy, Experience of using Computers and performing experiments.
The position is purely temporary, for one year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years.
The candidate should have interest in Astronomy with the knowledge of using computers, basically MS Office, Word, PageMaker, Photoshop etc.
As most of the work will be carried out using Marathi as a base language, good knowledge of Marathi with the knowledge of other two, i.e. English and Hindi languages are essential.

Salary-
Selected candidate will be paid consolidated honorarium of Rs. 18,500/- (inclusive of HRA).

Selection Process-
Candidates will be selected on the basis of walk in interview as conducted by the recruitment committee.
