Star apprentice jockey Cam Hardie is to spend a second night in hospital following a fall at Kempton on Wednesday evening.
X-rays on the youngster's wrist and elbow revealed nothing was broken, but as a precaution Hardie will have a CT scan on his wrist as he has been suffering from pins and needles.
Hardie is in St George's Hospital, Tooting, after parting company with the Michael Madgwick-trained Dark Tsarina, who clipped heels two furlongs out in a mile-and-a-half handicap.
"The X-rays have shown no breakages in his arm, but because he's got pins and needles in his wrist they are going to do a CT scan, just to make sure and double check. It might just be the nerves," said Hardie's agent, Tony Hind.
"Hopefully everything is tickety-boo and he hasn't broken anything.
"He's having a CT scan this evening and the results of that will say whether he has got anything, but they don't seem to think he has.
"The X-rays showed no breakages. The CT scan will tell us a lot more. It might be just nerve damage.
"He'll be in hospital overnight."
