The Lunchbox producer shaves off her hair

Guneet Monga, best-known for producing indies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Shahid, The Lunchbox and more recently, Danis Tanovic's Emraan Hashmi-starrer Tigers, is all set to return from a long vacation with an eye-grabbing new look.The producer has shaving off her hair.
“I have wanted to do this ever since I was a child,“ says an excited Guneet who is on a detox break.She has checked into a spa in Kerala, away from the cacaphony of Mumbai.

“This is my first holiday in the last 10 years. Taking the hair off, feels like I took a big load off me. I can't tell you how liberating the experience has been,“ she exults.
When prodded about whether going bald was a spontaneous decision or a planned one, Guneet says, “Actually, I tonsured my head in Mumbai before I took off for this trip. And I went through the process again in Kerala."
When asked if this is simply a holiday look, she quips, “No, I think I'll keep it, it looks good on me. Don't you think so?“ And has the trip been as rejuvenating as the new hair-do? “It has been,“she admits. “We are doing a lot of breathing exercises here and yoga too. My day begins early and we are finished with dinner a few hours after sunset and trot off to bed. It's very different from my life in Mumbai but I'm really enjoying it."
