TXU Parent Reports Less Than 1% Decline in Residential Customer Count
Energy Future Holdings reported in a 10-Q that its competitive retail businesses recorded a net loss of residential customers from June 30, 2014 to September 30, 2014, but the loss was less than 1% of its customer base.
Specifically, EFH reported that its retail businesses lost 9,000 residential customers from June 30, 2014 to September 30, 2014.

As of September 30, 2014, EFH retail companies were serving 1.502 million residential customers, versus 1.511 million as of June 30, 2014, and 1.524 million a year ago.
EFH retail companies were serving 177,000 small business meters (< 1 MW) as of September 30, 2014, which was flat versus the June 30, 2014 total, and compares to 176,000 a year ago.
EFH retail companies were serving 20,000 large business meters as of September 30, 2014, which was flat versus the June 30, 2014 total, and compares to 17,000 a year ago.
Total customer count for the EFH retail companies was 1.699 million as of Sept. 30, 2014, versus 1.708 million as of June 30, 2014 and 1.717 million a year ago.
