2 security guards admit to CBT involving RM1.8m

    PETALING JAYA: Two security guards pleaded guilty in the Sessions Court here today to criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM1.8 million.
    Kasim Taysing, 35, and Adrin Jalil, 36, who had been entrusted by their employer, Syarikat Safeguard G4S Sdn Bhd to collect the returns from sales, were charged with two others still at large.
    They committed the offence at the roadside at Putra Permai 1A, Seri Kembangan at 9.42pm on Oct 27.
    Judge Abu Bakar Manan set tomorrow for sentencing.
    Deputy public prosecutor Nuraishah Datuk Ahmad Zakiuddin appeared for the prosecution while the duo were unrepresented.
    Meanwhile, in the Magistrate's Court, a friend of the duo claimed trial to possession of stolen property involving RM1.1 million cash.
    Ayub Zulkifli, 34, a former employee of the same company, allegedly committed the offence at house no B13, Felda Semarak, Jerantut, Pahang at 3.30am on Oct 29.
    Magistrate K. B. Elena Hong Tze Lan set RM4,000 as bail, with one surety, and Dec 2 for mention.
    Deputy public prosecutor Saphirra Selamat appeared for the prosecution while the accused was unrepresented. – Bernama
