The BJP women’s wing has decided to take out a protest march from the party State headquarters to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s home office here on Wednesday. BJP women’s wing president Shakuntala Jolle told a press conference here on Tuesday that the protest was aimed at waking up the government from its “deep slumber”. BJP city unit president Subbu Narasimha and urban district president Muniraju said the party would also stage a protest outside the KSRTC head office on Thursday against the failure to reduce bus fares in tune with the reduction in diesel prices. The party would also stage a protest outside the BWSSB office on November 10 to protest against the steep hike in water tariff, they said.
