Porsche just released information and photos of the latest high-performance GTS version of the Cayenne.

Set to make its official debut during the L.A. Auto Show later this month, the new GTS abandons its predecessor’s V8 in facor of a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 that makes 440 hp and 445 lb-ft of torque marking a 20-hp increase and an extra 62 lb-ft of twist. Despite being more powerful, Porsche says the new GTS will also be more fuel efficient thanks to the smaller engine.

Aside from saving fuel, the SUV will launch from 0-62 MPH (100 km/h) in 5.2 seconds and comes paired with Porsche Active Suspension Management and an air suspension as part of its standard equipment list. That combination sees it sitting 20 millimeters lower to the ground than the base Cayenne.

Other standard equipment on the car include brakes lifted from the more expensive and powerful Turbo model along with the same front fascia featuring larger air intakes. All GTS Cayennes also come with a sport exhaust.

The interior includes special sport seats upholstered in leather and Alcantara with “GTS” letters stitched into the headrests. Porsche says Alcantara is the primary material that it used in general to upholster the interior.

You can expect to start seeing them arriving in U.S. showrooms in February, 2015 with a starting price of $96,495 including delivery.
