A LIGHT breeze greeted Buddhist devotees as they released lotus-shaped krathongs that illuminated the sea off Gurney Drive.
Devotees had earlier in the day thronged Wat Chaiya Mangalaram Buddhist Temple in Burma Lane, Penang. Some bought the krathongs prepared by the temple while others brought their own.
