CHANDIGARH: Blaming the 'strained' relations between SAD-BJP alliance in the state, Congress legislative party (CLP) leader Sunil Jakhar on Tuesday alleged that it was prompting the BJP at the Centre to stop release of grants for sewerage plant projects in the state.Jakhar said deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal had laid foundation stones of these projects before the Lok Sabha elections even though it was the UPA that had sanctioned these projects.
"Full page advertisements were issued in all newspapers and people were assured that all key cities in the state will have proper sewerage systems," said Jakhar.
