Two 15-year-old males have been charged following an incident at Kingsway Garden Mall Tuesday evening.

Around  8 p.m., Kingsway Garden Mall security officers asked several teen males to leave the mall after a shoplifting incident in one of the department stores.

The teens eventually left the mall, but returned a short time later.

When security officers approached the males again, one teen was allegedly carrying a large screwdriver.

A struggle broke out when the security officers attempted to arrest the teen and obtain the weapon.

The teen was eventually arrested and the other teens left the mall.

One of the teens allegedly kicked and broke a glass door on the way out.

Security officers were able to provide a suspect description to responding police and he was arrested at a nearby transit shelter.

Two 15-year-old males were later charged.
