Sculpting like Kunal Kumar

Balu (Kunal Kumar), a man of many skills on 'Gutur Gu-3', decided to try his hands at sculpting. He thinks that the skill is special and is proud of it, but his family thinks otherwise about his creative genius. His neighbour, a scientist, is testing his heli-camera when it gets stuck between the room’s ventilator and the window of the Kumars’ house.

In an attempt to retrieve it, the scientist ends up falling in a tub of Plaster of Paris.A few moments later, the PoP hardens and the scientist gets stuck in the form of a sculpture. When the Kumar family wakes up in the morning, they are surprised to see a genuine work of art by Balu, who’s shocked by the turn of events and clueless about what happened the night before.
Says Kunal, “I believe all of us have an artistic side, and it’s up to us to discover and nurture it. In this particular sequence, I am adept at modelling statuettes from PoP, and end up being appreciated for an art piece that is not my creation. All of us actors clicked photos with Nilesh Divekar, the scientist in the form of a statue, and joked around with everyone.”
Gutur Gu-3 airs on Saturdays and Sundays at 7 pm on SAB TV.
