Scary no more!

Fear, dread, panic, goose bumps and chills down the spine. These are the effects a horror film should have on us. On Halloween, we list down some films that failed to scare us.. These films went completely wrong with their genres and we have a different take towards it. Take a look at our list….

R

Ragini MMS 2
Starring: Sunny Leone

Who knew that the desi version of Paranormal Activity 2 would be so hilarious! The first edition, Ragini MMS was spooky but since the makers wanted to experiment with the sequel, they gave us an erotic-horror. That did not give us any chills. The erotic part in the film got to the audiences’ attention but the multi-lingual ghost and scenes copied from The Conjuring did not scare us at all.

H

Help
Starring: Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse

A pregnant lady is possessed by her wicked twin sister's spirit (both played by Mughda Godse) in this bizarre horror flick, Help. Plus the story had many diverse variations with all the characters coming in and out. Some of the portions were picked up from the Hollywood films like The Ring, The Grudge and Mirrors. The confusing story and poor execution did not scare or surprise the audience at all. All we can say is Help is neither frightening nor fun. Boring!

G

Hisss
Starring: Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat's Hisss was a disappointment. Her hollywood debut was more comic than creepy. No amount of her skimpy clothing and snakeskin prosthetics elevated the story of the film and well, lets not get to the lackluster acting.

Phoonk 2
Starring: Sudeep, Amruta Khanvilkar and Ahsaas Channa

After a while, RGV came back trying his luck at horror films with Phoonk 2. There was black magic, spiders, skulls, crows etc in their worst forms. The film also had a sequel, Phoonk 2, which was basically the same storyline but with an expected boring twist. And don’t even get us started on the whole crow and black magic thing.

B

Bhoot Returns
Starring: Manisha Koirala and J. D. Chakravarthy

This Bhoot seriously had no business returning. RGV could’ve totally saved his original film from getting spoilt by not making this senseless content. Also, naming a doll Shabbu is just wrong! Bhoot Returns was a major fail for all the horror fans.
