The SIA Architectural Design Awards recognises developments of architectural excellence and innovative solutions. Submissions are judged based on the structure's originality and innovation, sensitivity to context, sustainability, response to climate, response to users' needs and elegance of construction and detail. This year, there were a total of 105 entries, with 14 Design Awards and 10 Honourable Mentions awarded in seven categories.
Earlier this year, Audi Centre Singapore was voted 'Best Retail Architecture, Singapore' by a regional panel of judges at the International Property Awards (Asia Pacific) 2014. Participants are judged by a highly-experienced team of professionals and the highest-scoring winners from each region are ultimately entered into the International Awards, which determine the world's finest property companies. Audi Centre Singapore also won Gold at the MIPIM Asia Awards 2013, under the 'Best Retail Store Design' category. The MIPIM Asia Awards recognises excellence in Asian real estate development.
