The SUV craze, which has caught on worldwide, is only going to intensify in the new year as more companies add SUVs to their portfolio. Volkswagen, for example, has made it clear that in the next two years, it will be ready with SUVs in every segment globally. Others like Skoda Auto, Audi and BMW are also adding more SUVs to their existing range. Big Indian players Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motors India and Mahindra & Mahindra are close to launching their small SUVs to partake in the successes of Ford's EcoSport and Renault's Duster.
