Rohit Roy to play a fashion photographer

Rohit Roy who has earlier played a fashion photographer in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, will once again play the part in Bhandarkar’s next Calendar Girls. While, Roy’s character is not based on any photographer in real life, he mentions, “There have been rumours that my role is based on Atul Kasbekar, because of his stylish fashion sense, but it’s not true. It represents all photographers without whom fashion is incomplete.”
The actor had recently finished a week long shoot for the film in Mauritius with the next schedule to be announced soon. Meanwhile, when queried whether Ruhi Singh, a former Miss India contestant is playing one of the calender girls in the film, Roy refused to comment. The actor also mentioned that he is presently working on a script, and will soon direct it.
