The district-level science project competitions of the 22nd National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) will be held at Government Markazi High School, Laskar Bazar, Hanamkonda on November 10, said DEO S. Vijaya Kumar.
He wanted the high school managements and teachers to motivate the students come up with innovative scientific projects on the specified themes of the Children’s Science Congress. The students should register their names on or before November 5 or personally register their projects at the venue on November 9. The district coordinator K. Ramgopal Reddy said the district and State-level Children’s Science Congress will be jointly organised by the State Council of Science and Technology in association with the Department of School Education and the State Council of Educational Research and Training.
The academic coordinator NCSC Warangal, V. Gurunadha Rao, said the project competitions are being organised for students between 10 and 17 years of age and competitions will be held on the focal theme “Understanding Weather and Climate”.”
State-level Children’s Science Congress will be held in the third week of November at Nizamabad and national-level Children’s Science Congress will be held between December 27 and 31 in Bangalore.
