Espar Products, manufacturer of fuel-operated heaters, recently announced that it was awarded the Daimler 2013 Masters of Quality award and the GM 2014 Supplier Quality Excellence award.
On June 18, representatives from Daimler visited Espar’s facility to present the award to Espar’s team. The award is the highest recognition that DTNA gives to its suppliers, said Espar.
“This award acknowledges our dedication to continually improve the performance of our heater products and the devotion of our team to service our heavy-duty truck customer,” said Ashu Aggarwal, Espar’s quality manager.
At an awards ceremony on Sept. 24, Espar was awarded the GM Supplier Quality Excellence award. Volker Hohensee, president of Espar, accepted the award at the Detroit Cobo Center. This is the second year in a row that Espar has received the supplier quality award from GM.
