No longer just a site to purchase movie tickets, Fandango has announced its newest endeavor, a partnership with “Access Hollywood” to air episodes of its digital video series “Fandango Frontrunners.”

The deal is part of Fandango’s ongoing effort to expand its offerings as a one-stop-shop for moviegoers. The site now offers reviews, commentary, celebrity interviews, trailers, guidance for families, and of course, their well-known ticket purchasing service.

“Frontrunners,” now entering its third season, is hosted by Fandango’s chief correspondent Dave Karger, and has become a forum and showpiece for Oscar contenders. Karger and his guests — stars from newly-released films — talk about personal journeys, showcase a pivotal scene from their award-worthy films, and discuss the work.

“We have a terrific roster of top talent lined up for the new season of ‘Frontrunners’,” said Paul Yanover, president of Fandango. “This year, we are thrilled to expand our audience reach on television through a first-time partnership with ‘Access Hollywood,’ and digitally through our recent acquisition of MovieClips, the leading movie trailers and content network on YouTube.”

Now in its 19th season in national syndication, “Access Hollywood” is set to feature Karger as a guest on the show, providing commentary throughout awards season in addition to airing segments of the “Frontrunners” series.

“Dave Karger is an expert on the Oscars and his unique series has become a must-stop for award contenders during their campaign,” said Rob K. Silverstein, executive producer of “Access Hollywood.” “We think ‘Frontrunners’ will complement our awards season coverage nicely and we also look forward to the added exposure and online traffic ‘Access Hollywood’ will receive from Fandango’s massive digital network.”

The new season of the show will debut on Fandango in November to run throughout awards season, and will feature guests including Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell, Eddie Redmayne, Ralph Fiennes, Benedict Cumberbatch, Edward Norton, Patricia Arquette and more.
