After Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan participated in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Swachh Bharat (Clean India) campaign, it's megastar Amitabh Bachchan's turn to take up the charge to clean Mumbai. Big B decided to take the broom in his own hands to clean the streets of the city on Wednesday.
Bachchan was nominated by industrialist and close friend Anil Ambani, who also cleaned the area near Churchgate a week after Modi had kicked off the cleanliness drive on Gandhi Jayanti. Ambani had also invited Asian Games gold medalist boxer Mary Kom and tennis star Sania Mirza among other nine celebrities along with Bachchan.
Taking time out from his hectic schedule, Bachchan decided to take the initiative forward before shooting for the finale of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). He shared some glimpses from the day with his fans on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
