VADODARA: A bus of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) rammed into the railing of Amit Nagar flyover in the city on Wednesday after the driver lost control as he tried to avoid collision with a vehicle that was trying to overtake the bus.
Seven persons, including the bus conductor, were injured in the accident. All the injured were rushed to SSG Hospital. "Three of the seven patients brought here have been admitted to the intensive care unit.
They are in a critical condition and are being monitored. The other four patients are stable," said a doctor.
The bus was heading to Dungarpur in Rajasthan from Vadodara. There were 12 passengers in the bus when the accident took place near Bright Day School where the Amit Nagar flyover begins. Officials of the fire brigade had to cut through the bus to rescue the passengers as its entrance was mangled.
