Suddenly, an AT-AT appears

Canadian photographer and lifelong "Star Wars" fan Thomas Dagg superimposes key characters, battleships and objects from the "Star Wars" universe onto real-life images taken here on Earth.

Here are some of our favorites, starting with an AT-AT roaming the city on a snowy day. It's fairly common, of course, to see AT-ATs roaming the streets in Galactic Empire-held cities around the world.

An Ewok at the zoo

At the local downtown zoo, you can view an Ewok in its natural habitat. There's a shelter for the Ewok to keep itself dry during rain and snowstorms, and plenty of space for it to roam around.

Don't stay at the Ewok exhibit too long, though, as these fuzzy creatures sure know how to sling a rock.

Lightsaber baseball game

Baseball is a staple of life in the "Star Wars" Earth-iverse by photographer Thomas Dagg. The only major difference is that instead of using bats, players use lightsabers. And, of course, they use balls that don't get sliced in half each time a batter makes contact.

In Game 7 of the Intergalactic Series, pictured here, a batter from the Kansas City Rebels swings his lightsaber bat at a pitch from the San Francisco Galactic Empire.

A Snowspeeder at the spaceport

At the metropolitan spaceport of photographer Thomas Dagg's imagination, it's not uncommon to see all sorts of spacecraft speeding in and out. Why, just the other day Admiral Ackbar's Home One stopped in for a brief stay.

Here, a T-47 airspeeder (commonly called a snowspeeder), is parked alongside standard airplanes and other spacecraft.

dagg created the images using Photoshop, with every superimposed "Star Wars" character or ship coming from photos of toys he's had since childhood.

TIE fighter fly-by

In the city's residential area, it's not uncommon to see TIE fighters in formation, preparing themselves for whatever star battle happens next.

They only occasionally fire upon innocents. But, we're happy to report that the city has been accident-free for the last six months.

Darth Vader takes the streetcar

Thomas Dagg creatively superimposes "Star Wars" images onto photos from everyday life.

We're guessing times are tough for Darth Vader. After his personalized TIE Advanced x1 was destroyed in the Battle of Endor, he had to revert to public transportation to get around town.

And while there have been times where other passengers on the streetcar have gotten a bit unruly, Vader has yet to force choke-anyone.

Yoda training Jedi

Growing up, Thomas Dagg saw "Star Wars" everywhere he looked, and this series of photographs captures the "Star Wars"-infused world he imagined as a child.

Here, Dagg spots a guy running through the streets. But this isn't just any man; he's actually a Padawan learning the ways of the Force thanks to his teacher, Yoda, who's sitting on the man's shoulders. "Take me to him you will, yes? Hmmmm?"
