Eunuchs block road, protest against police inaction

He said that he even gave a cop Rs 15,000 but even then FIR was not registered and no action was taken. On Wednesday, they met the DCP but not were not satisfied with the treatment given to them.

They later blocked Ferozepur road and raised slogans against the cops. Some vehicles were also vandalised and eunuchs also thrashed a three wheeler driver who tried to cross the blocked road.

Later Assistant Sub-Inspector Vipan Kumar who came to pacify them was abused. SHO Dharampal, from police division number five, assured them that action will be taken and the protest was lifted. He said, “A case has been registered as per complaint received and cops were busy in duties due to Chhath puja and thus the matter got delayed.”
