Ram-Bharat milap: Shotgun on attending Bachchans' Diwali bash

We all know about equation between stalwarts Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha. Both have worked together in films like Kaala Patthar, Dostana, Shaan and Naseeb but have always shared cold vibes.

Their cold war grew intense when Sinha asked his staff to return mithai boxes sent by Big B after Abhishek's marriage to Aishwarya in 2007. "Jab bulaaya nahin phir mithai kis baat ki?" was Sinha's response.

But both of them have now decided to let the bygones be bygones. Shatrughan Sinha attended Bachchans' Diwali bash with his whole family.

Shotgun confirmed the news to a leading daily. "I would say it was a Ram-Bharat milap. The Bachchan family invited us and we were treated as if we were the chief guests. All four of them, even Amitabh's daughter Shweta, welcomed us warmly and took good care of us. It was a classy party and the arrangements were lovely," he was quoted by the daily.

When asked what had gone wrong between them, Shatrughan said: "Jawaani thi, josh tha, there were ego issues. Now, our stature and age demands that we behave as mature adults."

"What better occasion than Diwali to reunite?" he told the daily.

Well, that is a great news for all the fans.
