Diwali festivities are all about lights, diyas, sparkling clean houses and loads of firecrackers. With celebrations playing a major role around Diwali, Micromax wanted to help forward the thought of the ‘Swacch Bharat’ initiative. A noise-free Diwali was only possible once everyone joins hands in saying no to crackers. Since, this is Micromax, we decided to play things up a little and put across our message in an exciting yet quirky way. Enter #MonKeyShanti.
Micromax’s Diwali campaign began with teaser posts urging users to stay tuned for what we had in store. The campaign was then kicked off with the #MonKeyShanti video illustrating how people bring out the monkey inside them by bursting crackers on Diwali. The video then urged users to say no to crackers and celebrate a noise-free Diwali! Following the video, Micromax invited fans to click pictures in their #MonKeyShanti pose that showcased a monkey in a state of Zen, to share with us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Response from participants
The campaign ran across all Micromax social platforms with fans sending in pictures reenacting the #MonKeyShanti pose! We received a great response from participants who attained their peace of mind aka #MonKeyShanti!
