Domestic help found murdered

A 52-old-year-old domestic help was found murdered at her residence in Dodda Banasawadi on Wednesday. The deceased, Shanthi, a native of Nepal, was living with her husband Jagadish, a security guard.

The incident came to light when Jagadish returned to the servants’ quarters to find Shanthi dead in a pool of blood. The assailants slit her throat and smothered her to death using a pillow, the police said.

Preliminary investigations found that nothing missing from her home. Police are also not ruling out the possibility of a sexual assault.

The Rammurthy Nagar police have taken up a case and are investigating further.
