Nine thefts on Diwali weekend

GURGAON: After residents complained of four robberies on Monday, five more homes have allegedly been burgled in Palam Vihar area. Four separate FIRs have been lodged in Palam Vihar police station.
In all the cases, the residents were away between October 22 and 26 and returned to find their homes looted, with cash and jewellery worth lakhs missing. Vinay Shrivastav of Sector 22 returned to home on October 26 to find Rs 30,000 and jewellery missing.Surender Garg and Sushir Kumar of Sector 23 and New Palam Vihar respectively, returned from holidays to find money, jewellery and other valuables missing.
