Duniya Vijay’s Shankaracharya in trouble

Sandalwood actor Duniya Vijay’s upcoming movie titled Shankaracharya has hit a roadblock owing to title issues. Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Maha Sabha and Sringeri Mutt have raised objections to the title by filing the complaint before Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.
According to sources, citing that the title will hurt the religious sentiments of the people, these organizations have filed a complaint. President of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, H D Gangaraju, has promised to hold discussions to resolve the issue.The film is also likely to have Siddhanth in an important role and the project is being directed by Shahuraj Shindhe.
