NDRF ready to help flood victims

The National Disaster Response Force 10 Battalion is ready to proceed to Guntur, Krishna, Prakasham and Nellore districts which were hit by heavy rain during the last 24 hours.

Battalion Commandant Prasanth Dar said the NDRF is in touch with the district Collectors, Revenue Divisional Officers and Police since Sunday. Forces are ready for deployment at the affected villages with necessary life saving equipment, said Mr. Dar and appealed to the officers to contact the NDRF control room in emergency.
