Gunship helicopters killed 25 in Datta Khel, several injured, hideouts destroyed, says ISPR

MIRANSHAH: (Dunya News) – 33 terrorists have been killed and several terrorists’ hideout have been destroyed in North Waziristan Agency (NWA) during the latest air-strikes in Datta Khel, Dunya News reported. Several others were injured as well.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorists is continuing successfully. 9 hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed during the latest air raid. Pakistani jets did heavy bombardment over terrorists early morning on Monday and killed 33 terrorists, ISPR told. According to sources, 2 Uzbek terrorists were also among the killed. 10 extremists got injured during the raid.

Sources claim that this is highly sensitive area and Pakistan Army may also face stiff resistance in this region. On the other hand, 9 Pakistani soldiers were injured in Chaharmang area of Bajaur Agency in result of an explosion near security forces’ car. A primary school was also bombed by the terrorists in Tehsil Barra of Khyber Agency. No life loss was recorded here as the school was closed. The number of educational institutions destroyed by terrorists in Khyber Agency has now reached 86 while more than 500 schools have been devastated overall by them in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
