"Youngistaan" actor Jackky Bhagnani became the butt of jokes on Twitter after he congratulated Malala Yousafzai for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
On Friday, Indian child rights activist Kailash Satyarthi and Pakistani teen activist Malala were awarded the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize.
Soon after that, celebrities and prominent political figures congratulated Satyarthi and Malala on Twitter. And Bhagnani was one of the celebs who took to the micro-blogging site.
The actor, who's last film "Youngistaan" was declared a flop, congratulated the 17-year-old Pakistani education activist for winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
"Such good news to hear about masala and the noble peace price . My speech In #youngistaan was inspired by her!!" he tweeted.
The actor initially didn't realise that he accidently referred to Malala as 'Masala" and prize as 'price', due to which jokes on him started trending on Twitter.
However, the actor later deleted the tweet and said that it was a typo error.
"Sorry malala typing error," he tweeted.
"Guys relax it's a typing error but I am glad could give everyone a laugh," he tweeted later.
But twitteratti couldn't stop making fun of the actor on Twitter. Several hilarious jokes and memes on Bhagnani started trending, after he posted that tweet.
