Jeremy Maclin made some nifty moves to elude a number of Arizona Cardinals on a third-quarter punt return on Sunday, but proved unable to avoid two inanimate objects on the sideline.

Gatorade showers are usually a good thing on the football field, just not in the middle of the game.

Though the spilling of the Gatorade is the clear highlight, the most ridiculous part of the act is how Maclin slid across the table, then went neck-first into another table.

I don’t care how many pads you’re wearing. That hurts. The whole thing was like a football version of Derek Jeter, minus the catch and the deep sense of cla22, re2pect and 2ophi2tication, of cour2e.

Maclin was no worse for the wear. He caught a deep touchdown pass from Nick Foles later in the quarter to give Philadelphia a 17-14 lead in the NFC battle.
