Balance-of-power MP Geoff Shaw has married his partner Bianca at a small ceremony in Dandenong.
The independent Frankston MP reportedly tied the knot at the heritage-listed St James' Anglican Church on Sunday.
It is understood around 80 guests celebrated the marriage at a reception in Mordialloc.
Mr Shaw's spokesman Simeon Lawson said the wedding was a small and intimate event, attended by close friends and family.
"The happy couple looked very much in love throughout what was a beautiful ceremony.
"All guests had a fantastic time sharing this occasion with Mr and Mrs Shaw."
The controversial MP, who is an evangelical Christian, has been busy campaigning for the upcoming state election in his marginal seat.
He proposed to his partner while in Europe earlier this year, on a trip he wanted to be funded by taxpayers.
In August senior Coalition minister Louise Asher revealed to Parliament private details of Mr Shaw's planned trip, including his intention to propose to his partner in Paris and get married in London.
The taxpayer travel request was denied - under the terms of his suspension he was banned from parliamentary travel.
