Meghna Malik returns to theatre after nine years

TV actress Meghna Malik is excited about the feedback she has been receiving for her play, Alibaba Aur Chalis Ke Chor. The play marks her return to theatre after nine years.
Admitting to being nervous initially, she says, “I was hesitant, but gave in eventually because of the genre of the play, which is comedy.” The play highlights issue of mid-life crisis, which includes desperation and boredom, in a funny manner.

Adds the actress, “I have stage fright. But since I have not tried comedy for a long time, it came as a comic relief for me.” Having enjoyed doing comedy, Meghna is now keen to explore the genre on small screen.
