KOZHIKODE: The meeting of the District Development Committee urged the authorities concerned to introduce bus services on the Ramanattukkara-Pooladikkunnu bypass stretch. P T A Rahim MLA moving the resolution in this regard at the meeting said that at present the people residing at Ramanattukkara have been taking additional one hour to reach the civil station owing to the absence of bus services on the route.

K Dasan MLA in another resolution urged the authorities to take stringent actions to avoid frequent accidents on the National Highway stretch between Korapuzha and Moorad. He urged the need of deploying home guard at zebra crossings and the necessity of setting up of temporary divider at Chengottukkavu to curb the speeding of the vehicles on the route.
The meeting also discussed the importance of ensuring anti-rabbis vaccines at all the hospitals to provide timely treatment to people who getting stray dog bites.
District Collector C A Latha chaired the meeting. Purushan Kadalundi MLA, C K Nanu MLA, K Kunjammed Master, C Moinkutty, district planning officer M A Ramesh Kumar and others attended the meeting.
