Mohali: Punjabi singer Jarnail Singh alias Jelly and three others have been booked by the police for abduction, assault and gang-rape of an actress.

The 30-year-old actress lodged an FIR against the four and said that she was repeatedly gang-raped after the singer and his friends made a video of the act and blackmailed her.

Apart from Jelly, the actress also named Swaran Singh, who works in the production team of the singer, and two other associates, Maninder Singh and Charanpreet Singh in the FIR.

Police said that the woman came in contact with Jelly in June last year when she approached him to take singing lessons. And later in July that year she was taken to a house in sector 57 of Mohali, where she was allegedly drugged and gang-raped.

The actress said she didn't approach the police to file a complaint as the accused has threatened her with uploading the 'rape video' online.

When the woman got pregnant, she was forced to abort by Jelly and his associates. They even took her to local hospital but the doctors refused.

The actress in the FIR said that all the four accused assaulted her and dumped her near a religious place in Phase 1 of Mohali, leaving her there to die.

When she regained consciousness, she called the women helpline and the police to file a complaint against the accused.
