The Avalanche practiced for an hour Saturday before departing for Winnipeg and preparing for Sunday afternoon’s game against the Jets.

The Avs, who erupted for seven goals Friday in a 7-3 triumph over the visiting Vancouver Canucks, will look to extend their points streak to three games Sunday against a Central Division rival which is last in the division at 2-5. Colorado is 2-4-2.

Semyon Varlamov will start in goal for the Avs against the Jets, and defenseman Zach Redmond — a former Jet — will remain in the lineup after making his season debut Friday. Forward Jesse Winchester (concussion) again practiced with the team Saturday but will remain in Colorado and work with trainers.
