Cote d'Ivoire has resumed flights to Ebola-hit countries in West Africa, said the African Union (AU) in a statement on Saturday.
President Alassane Dramane Ouattara of Cote d'Ivoire has informed Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Chairperson of the AU Commission and her delegation that the country's national carrier, Air Ivoire, has resumed flights to Conakry, Guinea, said the AU statement.
Ouattara said that flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone would begin on October 26, it said.
Cote d'Ivoire will soon be announcing its medical personnel contribution once they complete an ongoing training exercise, noted the statement. Endi
