A show of hands
Head to the Boulder County Fairgrounds for the Handweavers Guild of Boulder Sale and Show Oct. 29 through Nov. 2. Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the juried showcase offers works by basketmakers, weavers, quilters, bead artists, spinners and more along with books, patterns, yarn, fleece and cards. Demonstrations in textile art, spinning and weaving are also featured. A fashion show begins at 1 p.m. Nov. 1. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 29 through Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 2.
