The Ottawa REDBLACKS galvanized a community and  a country tonight depsite losing to the Montreal Alouettes 23-17. Prior to the game the REDBLACKS paid tribute to our fallen soldiers, 25 thousand fans came together to sing the National anthem in unison.

Fittingly the Ottawa REDBLACKS opening drive resulted in Henry Burris's first thrown touchdown in 4 weeks as he connected to Marcus Henry.

Despite turnovers and dropped balls, the REDBLACKS never quit. Back up quarterback Danny O'Brien saw some action threw a touchdown reception to Scott MacDonell.

The Aliouettes would hold onto win 23-17. The REDBLACKS fall to 2-14. They next host Hamilton next Friday night.
